(opposite bull-ring). Good quality food, rather expensive.
CAZADORES. Next to Centro de Salud at the top of Avinada de
Malaga. Small bar/restaurant off top end of Espinel. Serves fish
and is very popular with locals (one of Ronda’s best kept
secrets).Excellent Berenjenas (deep fried chips of aubergine).
Basic, very busy and very cheap.

The chef of this excellent restaraunt was voted the best young
chef in Spain for 1998. It offers a variety of creative
Andalucian dishes and is ideal for that special occasion. The
decor is avant-guarde.
Open: 12.30 - 4.00 pm. Lunch and 7.00 - 11.00 Dinner.
Closed on Mondays.

The Restaurant in this hotel is well worth a visit , the food is
excellent, original, and inexpensive, with many vegetarian
dishes on the menu. The food is influenced by Moroccan cuisine.
Open for lunch and dinner everyday, it is recommended that you
book in advance at weekends.

Apart from the main restaurant in the hotel there is also a
café/bar with lovely views, that is open at lunchtime and
throughout the afternoon. The salads are very good.

This is situated in the first road to the left over the bridge
and has a good traditional menu.
ALMOCABAR,

part of town this restaurant is a well kept secret among locals
– try the fillet of beef cooked on a hot stone on your table, or
the game pate with caramalised apple. Friendly staff and good

is a great place to dine in the summer with tables set up in the
square next to the fountain. Good pork marinated in Jerez wine with
sultanas, and always fresh fish – choise changes daily.

This bar is always open, 8.00am-3.00am. 7 days a week, or so they
claim. Nice atmosphere and good tapas.
BODEGA LA ESQUINA.

This is a specialist tapas bar serving sherry and excellent ham and
quails eggs. Beer is also available. Closed Tuesdays.
LA GIRALDA.

Good range of fish. Kebabs are good and also has vegetable tapas.

BAR PATATAN.

More comfortable surroundings than most tapas bars with good music
and atmosphere.
