The Finca Azahar is an exceptional property set in acres of woodland and worthy of the description of five star luxury accommodation. It has recently been renovated to include both indoor and outdoor swimming pools with fabulous views. It is an exceptionally spacious and well furnished property with every conceivable facility. There is a staff cottage in the grounds with maid service every morning and continental breakfast prepared if required, except Mondays.

The house is laid out on different levels harking back to the Moorish past of Andalucia. There are lots of places and spaces to be enjoyed within and without. It is perfect for 4 couples, a large family or 2 families sharing. At the heart of the house is the sitting room with natural earth tones deployed very effectively, the atmosphere is of understated elegance. French windows on one side of the room lead out to the pool area, which is extensive and on the other side, a garden with fragrant shrubs and fountain. The kitchen is large and has a 5 ring hob and oven, large fridge/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher and wall mounted TV. Throughout the living area there is a Bose sound system.

A smaller sitting room has a large screen fitted television with a library of books, DVD’s and CD’s.

There are four bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. The master bedroom is in the west wing and has a large dressing room and delightful bathroom overlooking the terraced garden and a King sized bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and has the benefit of being on the south side with the swimming pool a few steps away. The third bedroom has twin beds and a charming terrace with sofas and chairs and is surrounded by greenery, a lovely cool spot in the heat of the summer. Finally the fourth bedroom has a double bed and occupies the east wing.

The pool area is another living space with a large terrace furnished with a splendid dining table seating eight people that overlooks the ‘L’ shaped swimming pool. There is also a bar with seating and stools and open fires which overlooks the pool and a truly wonderful ‘mirador’ with sumptuous furniture that looks out over rolling hills and wooded areas. It is all beautifully lit in the evening with candles at every turn.

Last but by no means least, is the indoor heated pool which is 13 metres in length with a Jacuzzi and sauna. This house has everything for the perfect holiday. The village of Gaucin is just 10 minutes drive away with the coast and Ronda about 45 minutes in either direction. Dinner can be provided at extra cost if required along with baby sitting.
