Finca Zarzamora is a delightful country house, well-built, spacious with much attention to detail. It is a beautifully designed property set in lawned grounds, planted with shrubs and trees for shade in the heat of the Andalucian summer. The swimming pool, with full filtration system is large, measuring 15metres x 6 metres, enabling plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the sun and do some serious swimming as well. It is positioned alongside the terrace which borders the south side of the house. There are three sets of French Windows leading onto the terrace from the sitting room, dining room and one of the bedrooms - perfect for an early morning dip. Part of the terrace is covered with a large table set for al fresco dining.

Inside, the house easily accommodates 10 people. The sitting room is well proportioned, measuring 10 metres x 6 metres, has a lovely open fireplace and large comfortable sofas, tastefully decorated with English furniture. The kitchen/dining room is the hub of the house with a good quality range cooker, two fridge/freezers and dishwasher.  Cooking for a large number of people is well catered for – however lunch or dinner can be provided on request from the owner who also doubles as an excellent cook.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor that share a bathroom. One has a double bed and the other twin beds. The twin bedded room has its own terrace that leads directly onto the pool area. Upstairs, the master bedroom, with its own en suite bathroom, is huge and merits the description of five star accommodation. The bathroom has a large bath, separate shower and double basins. The other two bedrooms upstairs are also en suite. All these rooms have double beds and French windows that lead out onto the upstairs terrace which provides an excellent vantage point for views across the valley towards the Grazlalema National Park.

Finca Zarzamora is well located for both local facilities – just five minutes into the town of Ronda and two or three local bar/restaurants in the countryside itself. The beaches at San Pedro are an hours drive and Seville Granada and Jerez are all feasible day trips. The White villages are all around in almost every direction with some stunning landscape in between. A single gauge railway passes the property which can take you on the scenic route to Algeciras through fabulous mountain passes. Activities such as walking and riding are all on offer. The hospitality at Finca Zarzamora is second to none and well worth the experience. The house is entirely surrounded by hedges for complete privacy.
